How to Create a Free Local Pickup Shipping Method in Zibster ECommerce
If you offer in-store pickup or local pickup at a specific location, you can create a free pickup shipping method inside your Zibster ECommerce settings. This allows customers to choose local pickup instead of paying for shipping during checkout.
Follow the steps below to create a free local pickup option.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click ECOMMERCE in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
At the top of your ECommerce control panel, click PAYMENT, then select SHIPPING from the drop-down menu.
STEP THREE
Click the NEW SHIPPING METHOD button.
STEP FOUR
Set up your free pickup method using the fields on screen.
Complete the following:
Name
Enter a clear name customers will recognize during checkout, such as Free Pickup In Studio or Local Pickup.
Description (Optional)
Use this field to explain where and when customers can pick up their order.
Example: Pick up your order at our studio (123 Main St). We’ll email you when it’s ready.
Price
Choose Flat Shipping and set the price to $0.00.
Exclude Additional Shipping Charges
Select Yes so this method always remains free, even if specific products include additional shipping fees.
FINAL STEP
Click ADD SHIPPING OPTION to save your new pickup method and make it available during checkout.
Additional Options / Helpful Notes

You may create multiple pickup options if you offer more than one location.

If you also offer shipped products, customers will be able to choose between Shipping and Local Pickup during checkout based on the price list assigned to the products.

Good to Know: The order of your shipping methods in the control panel determines the order they appear at checkout. Place your preferred method first so it becomes the default option for customers.
What Your Clients Will See
Your clients will see all available shipping methods during checkout.
