This guide walks you through how to submit your request, plus what to do after your domain has been updated.
STEP ONE
Contact Zibster Support
Log in to your Zibster account, then click the black-and-white question mark icon in the bottom-right corner of your control panel to open the Zibster Assistant.
STEP TWO
Submit a Domain Change Ticket
In the Assistant, scroll down and select Create a Support Ticket using these options:
- Product/Section: Account
- Subject: Domain & Email
- Description: Let us know the new domain you’d like to use.
Once you submit your request, our team will begin the process!
After you click Send, one of our domain specialists will follow up with you during regular business hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm EST for next steps.
You'll have a ticket number for a confirmation that your request has been submitted.
💡 Important Note:
- Your new domain must be a valid domain name that you’ve already registered—either through Zibster or a third-party provider.
- If your domain is with a third-party registrar, we’ll send you the updated DNS (domain name server) settings so you can apply them on your end.
✅ WHAT TO DO AFTER YOUR DOMAIN IS CHANGED
Changing your domain is an exciting step! Here’s a handy checklist to help you make a smooth transition:
🔐 Reconnect Google reCAPTCHA
Make sure your forms are protected—after your domain update, you’ll need to reconnect reCAPTCHA so submissions work correctly.
🔁 Set Up 301 Redirects
If your old domain had search rankings or regular visitors, 301 redirects help preserve that traffic by pointing old URLs to your new one.
