The Zibster Form & Contract builder comes with built-in features to help protect you from spam. If you receive a spam message through one of your forms, you can easily block that sender from submitting any future forms. This guide will walk you through the steps of blocking individual senders from completing your forms.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click on the notifications icon in the upper-right corner of your control panel.
STEP TWO
The notification center will open on the right side of your screen. Find the spam message and click on the sender's Name or Email in the From/Date column to view their details.
STEP THREE
Click the BLOCK SENDER button.
FINAL STEP
Select how you'd like to block the sender. You have the following options:
- (RECOMMENDED METHOD) EMAIL ADDRESS: Blocks the spammer from using the same email address to submit any future forms.
- DOMAIN: Blocks any email address from a certain domain (e.g., @gmail.com) from submitting forms. Use with caution, as this will prevent anyone with that domain from sending messages through your forms.
- IP ADDRESS: Blocks submissions from the spammer’s specific IP address.
After making your selection, click the Yes, Block Sender button to confirm and prevent future spam from this sender.
You can also view or manage any existing blocks in your Spam Policy Settings from the control panel at any time.
