How to Publish a Blog Post in Zibster
Overview
Publishing blog posts in Zibster is an easy way to share updates, showcase your work, improve your website SEO, and keep your website content fresh. Every Zibster website includes a built-in blog system that allows you to create, schedule, and publish blog content directly from your control panel.
You can publish posts immediately, schedule them for a future date, or save them as drafts while you continue editing. Zibster also includes the Promote This Blog Post feature, which uses the Zibster AI Marketing Assistant to help you quickly turn your blog post into an email marketing campaign.
By the end of this guide, you will know how to publish a blog post and promote it using Zibster’s built-in marketing tools.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click BLOG in the left-side menu.
This opens your Blog Dashboard, where all of your blog posts are stored.
STEP TWO
Click NEW POST to create a new blog post, or click an existing draft if you want to publish a post you already started.
This opens the blog post editor where you can review, edit, or update your content before publishing.
If you have many blog posts, you can use the search bar to quickly locate a specific post.
STEP THREE
Inside the blog post editor, click the PUBLISH button in the upper-right corner.
This opens your publishing options in the right side menu.
From here, you can choose whether to:
- Save the post as a draft
- Schedule the post for a future date and time
- Publish the post immediately
FINAL STEP
Choose your preferred publishing option, then click SAVE CHANGES.
Your blog post will follow the publishing option you selected.
- Draft posts remain unpublished
- Scheduled posts automatically publish at the selected date and time
- Published posts immediately appear live on your website
Once published, your blog post will automatically appear on your website’s blog page.

Draft
Saves your blog post without making it visible on your website.
Draft posts can only be viewed inside your Zibster control panel.
Schedule Publishing
Allows you to select a future publish date and time.
Your blog post will automatically go live at the scheduled time based on your account time zone settings.
Publish Now
Immediately publishes the post so it becomes visible on your live website.
Promote Your Blog Post with Zibster AI
After publishing your blog post, you will see the PROMOTE THIS BLOG POST option.
This feature uses the Zibster AI Marketing Assistant to automatically generate an email marketing campaign based on your blog post content.
The generated campaign may include:
- Your blog post title
- AI-generated promotional email content
- Direct links back to your website
- Calls-to-action encouraging readers to visit your blog
Before sending the campaign, you can fully review and edit the email inside the MARKETING section of your Zibster account.

Important Notes
- Your blog post title automatically generates the blog post URL
- Changing the title after publishing may also change the URL
- If the URL changes, previously shared links to the post may no longer work
- Scheduled publish times follow the time zone configured in your Zibster account settings
- Clicking SAVE CHANGES immediately applies your publishing updates
- If your blog settings are configured to hide publish dates, the publish date may not appear publicly on your website
- Blog post canonical URLs are automatically generated in the following format:
https://www.yourdomain.com/blog-post/blog-post-title
- Published blog posts are automatically added to your RSS feed for search engine discovery

Why is my blog post not showing on my website?
Your blog post may still be saved as a draft or scheduled for a future publish date.
Open the blog post inside your Zibster control panel and verify the selected publishing option. If needed, change the setting to Publish Now and click SAVE CHANGES.
Can I edit the email created by Promote This Blog Post?
Yes. The generated email campaign can be fully edited before sending.
You can customize:
- Subject lines
- Email text
- Links
- Calls-to-action
- Overall messaging
All edits can be made inside the MARKETING section of your Zibster account.
Will scheduled blog posts publish automatically?
