How to Find Your XML Sitemap in Zibster
Your Zibster website automatically includes an XML sitemap that updates in real time whenever you make changes to your site. As you add, remove, or edit pages, your sitemap is refreshed automatically—no manual updates are required.
The sitemap includes all pages that are set to Visible, helping search engines properly discover and index your content.
This article shows you exactly where to find your sitemap URL in your Zibster account so you can submit it to search engines like Google and Bing.
Important To Know
-
Your XML sitemap is generated based on the domain name connected to your Zibster website.
-
Every page created in the Website Builder includes a canonical tag pointing to the https://www version of the page. This helps search engines understand which version of your pages should be indexed and prevents duplicate indexing issues.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account and click WEBSITE from the left-hand menu.
STEP TWO
Click TRACKING at the top center of the Website Builder.
FINAL STEP
You’ll see your sitemap URL listed in the Tracking section.
You can submit this sitemap URL to search engines like Google or Bing to help improve your site’s visibility in search results.
Additional Options / Helpful Notes
-
Only pages set to Visible are included in your XML sitemap.
-
Pages set to Hidden will not be indexed by search engines.
-
If you are using landing pages that you do not want displayed in your main site navigation but still want indexed, keep those pages set to Visible and place them inside a navigation dropdown that is set to Hidden in the Website Builder.
-
You never need to regenerate your sitemap, Zibster keeps it updated automatically.
