You can use your existing domain name with your Zibster website when you're ready to go live with your new design. This guide will walk you through the steps to submit your request to connect your domain name to your Zibster account.
STEP ONE
Log into your Zibster account & click on DOMAINS in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
Under "USE YOUR EXISTING DOMAIN," click the green button that says Request a Domain Setup.
This will begin the process for setting up the domain you already have registered with a third-party domain registrar.
STEP THREE
Enter your domain name and indicate whether you have an email address that ends with your domain. Then, click the Continue button.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT EMAIL:
When we set up your domain name, any existing email accounts associated with that domain may be temporarily unavailable during the 12-24 hour propagation period. After propagation is complete, your email accounts will function normally again.
- If you selected YES for the email question, please send your email provider’s MX records to our Support Team before changing your name servers (the next step). If you change your name servers before we’ve set up your email’s MX records, your email will go down. It will be restored within 12-24 hours after the MX records have been added to our servers.

STEP FOUR
Confirmation Message
You’ll receive a confirmation message that your domain setup request was successfully submitted. Our team will begin setting up your domain on your Zibster account.
Once it’s ready, our web consultants will send you the name server information you need. You'll need access to your domain registrar account (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Network Solutions, Google Domains, etc.) to update your domain’s name servers.
