Overview of Zibster Website Builder Blocks

Overview

The Zibster Website Builder uses content blocks to create pages for your business. Each block serves a purpose, such as displaying images, sharing information, collecting inquiries, selling products, or booking appointments. You can combine different block types and arrange them in the order you want visitors to see them. This guide explains the available blocks, when to use each one, how DuoBuild works, and which blocks count toward your page limit.

How Website Builder Blocks Work

Blocks are individual sections of a website page. Each has its own content and available design settings, which vary by block type and selected layout.

Some blocks let you enter content directly in the Website Builder. Others display content managed elsewhere in your account, such as products in the ECommerce Dashboard or posts in BLOG.

Depending on the block, you can customize colors, backgrounds, fonts, spacing, animations, and layouts. Custom block settings override the corresponding global website settings for that block.

To add a block, click WEBSITE and open the page you want to edit. The available blocks appear in the right-side menu. Click a block icon to add it to the bottom of the page, or drag it to a specific location.

Choose the Right Website Builder Block

Use this chart to compare blocks quickly. The sections below explain each block in more detail and link to its setup guide.

Using DuoBuild

DuoBuild automatically places two supported blocks side by side in equal-width columns when you position them beside each other. Each block keeps its own content and design settings.

The following blocks support DuoBuild:

  • Text Editor Block
  • Text + Image Block
  • Images Block
  • List Block
  • Banner Block
  • Video Block
  • Form Block
  • Button Block
  • HTML Block

You can pair two different supported types or two of the same type. A DuoBuild row holds two blocks. DuoBuild is built into the Website Builder; it is not a separate block, page template, or setting.

On smaller screens, the blocks stack vertically, with the left block appearing first and the right block below it.

Website Builder Block Limits

Each page allows a combined maximum of 30 of the following blocks:

  • Images Block
  • Banner Block
  • List Block
  • Blog Block
  • Products Block
  • Services Block
  • Scheduler Block
  • Mood Boards Block

Count each block instance, not the items inside it. An Images Block containing 20 photos counts as one block. Two Images Blocks paired with DuoBuild count as two.

The following blocks do not count toward the 30-block limit:

  • Title Block
  • Text Editor Block
  • Text + Image Block
  • Video Block
  • Form Block
  • Divider Block
  • Button Block
  • HTML Block
  • Gift Cards Block
  • Maps Block
  • FAQ Block

Saving Your Changes

Click SAVE CHANGES after editing a block’s settings. Saved changes to your Live Website take effect without a separate publishing step.

Block content and design changes made in a Draft Website remain in that draft until you publish it. Changes to shared account content, such as products, forms, and blog posts, can also affect your Live Website.

Review your page on desktop and mobile after editing. Check that content appears as intended and that buttons, forms, Mood Boards, and booking links work correctly.
